Had barely left the parking lot when I knew we hadn't ordered nearly enough. Chicken is great and the walleye was fantastic! The coleslaw and spicy ranch are also much have additions to your order. I don't think you can go wrong here, the place was packed.

For starters, I absolutely love chicken coop. Any native to the Muskegon area knows how quick, convenient, cheap, and delicious their fried chicken is. I seldom run into issues here, as I know that my food is usually made to order. Their fried chicken is easily up there with some of the best in the area. But in all fairness, I do have some gripes with the service. The majority of my interactions have been largely positive, but I have noticed that tends to fluctuate with the time of day & the staff that's on. That also tends to coincide with the quality of the food. All in all, it's a pretty consistent experience across the board here. And it's definitely a place that I would recommend people to experience while they are in the area.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner. We were in town for a christian conference. We loved the Bible reference, and the woman at the counter was so helpful and sweet! We got Fried chicken, fries, and fried okra. You can't beat it. Thanks for your service ladies! Praying for continual service to your community!

When ever I come in to Muskegon I go to the Coop!!! Good food!!! Great wings, Great fish, and Great tenders.

The BEST Chicken you will ever taste. Great flavor and coating. These people have it going on at the Coop. Cant wait to try the perch and cod dinners. Outstanding owner Wayne Holden and his staff just get it done in the kitchen for great chicken, fish, snacks, etc. Folks if you never been here, you are missing out. This place rocks! They have the best chicken tenders, anywhere. I will fight you for that. Stop in for lunch. They do fried foods and they do them very well. They have an extensive menu of chicken, fish, and yummy sides. Try the chicken tenders. Ask for them to be batter dipped. Order the spicy ranch dipping dipping sauce. (Ranch with diced jalapeños). You'll be grateful you went there. You'll also be angry that you didn't go sooner. Shai is the lovely lady behind the counter. She'll give you great service with a smile. She can juggle orders ten at a time, all in her head, without writing them down.

My favorite destination Sunday after church when company is coming. The chicken is affordable and cooked from quality meat, not like grocery store deli chicken that's all bones and breading. This chicken is delicious. I always get a vegetable side too like fried okra and some cole slaw which has a unique flavor, maybe a hint of horseradish? The staff is friendly and efficient.

Nicest service and great chicken!!! We also had smelt - so good and tastes just like my grandma used to make. YUM!

Best fried chicken in town! Rivals Roscoes Chicken and Waffles in LA. I got the chicken tenders and tater tots and loved it! Great hole in the wall!
